Unit USW-JS-20, The Tomcats
One of the newest junior specialist units in the U.S.W., the tomcats are determined to prove their worth to their fellow specialists, even as a first year squadron. Normally, a squad like the 20th would have to wait roughly 6 months before being allowed on missions outside their assigned city-state, but the Tomcats have been cleared after only two. This is not because of skill, but due mainly to the desperate situation within Ascension Bay's J.D.I.C. units at the moment. Somebody must step up and take on the additional responsibility left by the fall of the Steel Hornets and the decline of the Red Dragoons.
Cpl. Degen Tauho
An eager and determined youth, Degen is sure of his squads' abilities and willingness to step up to the enormous challenge being placed on their shoulders. His only concern lies with the squad's near zealous approach to their missions. He fears too many head long charges into combat may wind them up in worse shape than the 8th. Regardless, Degen has the utmost respect for the Rogues and their refusal to give up.
Cpl. Katrina Langley
The Tomcats' adored and lauded primary fireteam leader, Kat's first sortie left her with a facial mutilation even modern bionetic sugery couldn't repair. Even so, the young protectorate seemingly hasn't lost her charm and bubbly personality. The only thing Cpl. Tauho worries about is her reckless abandon in the heat of battle, which could cost them more than a good fireteam leader.
